Should Okazaki’s goal against Liverpool have been allowed to stand?
After goals from Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho gave Liverpool a 2-0 lead at Leicester on Saturday, Shinji Okazaki controversially pulled a goal back for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
On first viewing, it looked like Simon Mignolet had made an almighty fumble to allow Okazaki to bundle home from a corner but upon closer inspection, the Japan international appears to have fouled the Reds goalkeeper.
Liverpool fans on Twitter were in no doubt about referee Anthony Taylor’s decision to let the goal
