10,000 kids will be fed anytime Lionel Messi or Neymar scores
Mastercard is a financial service company, they have just announced an initiative that will see every goal scored by Lionel Messi or Neymar Jr. equate to a meal for 10,000 children.
Every time the pair scores a goal in an official competition; including this summer’s World Cup 10,000 children in Latin America and the Caribbean will receive school meals as of May 31.
The financial service company have revealed that the school meals will be provided to the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) each time the Argentine or the Brazilian scores.

Lionel Messi said.
Ana Ferrel, the regional spokesperson for MasterCard, noted how much this campaign will help fight child hunger.
‘She noted that there are more than 40 million people throughout Latin America suffer from hunger, many of which are children,’.
Combating hunger and child malnutrition is a way to support education and is key to reversing the cycle of poverty.
