ATM/POS/Mobile Banking App DISPENSE ERROR

When you attempt a transaction from the ATM/POS/Mobile Banking App and you get debited but the transaction was unsuccessful. It is called DISPENSE ERROR and it happens occasionally as a result of some technical or network glitches.

Just Follow these simple steps to DYI.

Log on to your Internet Banking profile

  1. Select CARDS
  2. Select DISPENSE ERROR
  3. Select the account and channel where this error happened
  4. Complete the form that appears with all the necessary details of the transaction.
  5. Provide the answer to your SECRET QUESTION
  6. Select CONTINUE
  7. Select SUBMIT

Alternatively, you can call any of the numbers at the back of your debit card.

Please Note:

  • Dispense Errors that occur on a GTBank terminal usually take 24 hours for a reversal.
  • Dispense Errors that occur on other banks' terminal usually take between 5-8 working days for a reversal.
  • International dispense errors can take up to 45 days for a resolution.
